New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Celebrated recording artist Willie Jones, who was just named one of "12 Black Artists Shaping Country Music's Future" by USA Today, is serving up a strong dose of positive vibes with his latest song "Get Low, Get High," out today via Sony Music Nashville in partnership with The Penthouse.
"We've all been through the darkest for the past two years," said Jones. "'Get Low, Get High' is a mantra signaling something better is coming soon and when it does, we're gonna appreciate it more than ever. Have faith."

Written by Jones alongside Cary Barlowe and Brandon Day, the new track is a soulful lesson in navigating the highs and lows of life. Continuing to build on his blend of hip hop and country elements - a style praised by NPR, The Recording Academy, Billboard and more - "Get Low, Get High" showcases Jones' impressive, baritone vocals and builds on his Louisiana-bred sound with a home state-inspired, jazzy horn section, adding even more flair to the uplifting tune.
"I got the idea for 'Get Low, Get High' during this Zoom write when I was in Louisiana. It had rained hard the night before and then the next day when we got together to write, the sun was out, and it was just a really beautiful day, and I actually wrote this song in my backyard on the computer during quarantine," Jones explained. "I was just talking to Cary and Brandon about the weather and just how things like go from dark to light and that whole duality. We just started talking about life and the song was born."

"Get Low, Get High" follows in the footsteps of his swampy, summertime anthem, "Down By The Riverside," which garnered his second late-night TV appearance with a "rousing" (Rolling Stone) performance on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this summer. Watch it here: youtu.be/BP1Kww8ekTQ.

Deemed "the future of country music" (Rolling Stone), Jones recently wrapped his six-date trek, The Barnstorming Tour, last week with a party-starting performance at Nashville's famed Whiskey Jam outdoor concert series, where he gave fans a live taste of this new music and prompted a rowdy crowd singalong in the process.
