New York, NY (Top40 Charts) A.N.I.M.A.L. continues to demonstrate why it is one of the most provocative and iconic bands in all of Latin rock. After releasing its spectacular album "ÍNTIMO EXTREMO - 30 AÑOS" in October of 2022, the quartet has been experiencing a tremendous 2023 and is now celebrating its nomination to the 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards in the Best Rock Album category, a prestigious recognition that comes as a result of the album's fantastic reception.
Produced by A.N.I.M.A.L's lead vocalist Andrés Giménez and keyboardist Osko Cariola, "ÍNTIMO EXTREMO - 30 AÑOS" is a vibrant snapshot of the Argentine band's three fruitful decades together, honoring its incredible, long-lasting popularity among its fans throughout the years. The project highlights 15 of the band's beloved classics, which have been reimagined in completely new versions that showcase the group's extraordinary versatility while maintaining the definitive essence that has made A.N.I.M.A.L one of the most legendary bands in Latin music history.
Each of the album's 15 thrilling tracks was recorded in collaboration with renowned guest stars from the Latin American music scene, including Juanes, Enrique Bunbury, Draco Rosa, Lali, Los Auténticos Decadentes, Andrés Calamaro, Chizzo Napoli (La Renga), Abel Pintos, León Gieco, Ca7riel, Neo Pistea, Alejandro Lerner, Agarrate Catalina, Lula Bertoldi (Eruca Sativa), Rubén Albarrán (Cafe Tacvba), Alex Lora (El Tri), Roco Pachukote (Maldita Vecindad), Santiago Cruz, Lucybell, Matamba and Alejandro Taranto.
For his part, Andrés Giménez has received two additional Latin Grammy nominations this year thanks to his work as the frontman of the Latin American metal band De La Tierra, in the Best Rock Album ("De La Tierra III") and Best Rock Song ("Depredadores") categories.
The 2023 Latin Grammy Awards will broadcast from the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre in Seville, Spain, on November 16.
