Showcasing the talented winners of the Prime 8 Art League's annual call for artists, and bringing together people and organizations from across Chicago's arts community and beyond, the event serves as a fundraiser for Marwen's visual art instruction programs serving underserved youth in the Chicago-area. In addition to the cutting-edge artwork, curated from submissions from around the world, the pop-up art event will include a full evening of entertainment and surprises, including live work from sign painting legend Ches Perry. Now in its 5th year, The Prime 8 Art League Charity Event is a centerpiece of the
Chicago arts calendar.
To the beats of Chicago's own DJ RTST, local artists will create live art on-site, while practicing artists and arts & crafts vendors will display their works. A highlight of the evening is the high-end prize raffle, featuring dozens of prizes, including:
