Blaine Cartwright & Ruyter Suys Announces New Band Buzzard
Lexington, KY (Top40 Charts/ Buzzard Official Website) Completely by accident, a new great southern rock supergroup has formed. While waiting for their singer in Nitrosonic studios in Lexington KY, the members of Nine Pound Hammer killed time by jamming.
Out of boredom Ruyter Suys, guitarist of Nashville Pussy decided to fix an old Fender Rhodes that had survived a flood and she joined in on keyboards. What came out was some sort of beautiful fusion between Led Zeppelin and The Band. After having seen Kentucky soul singer Andy Brasher Performing in a cover band in Owensboro Ky guitarist/songwriter Blaine Cartwright asked Andy to join the flock.

The band casually created the musical answer to the question 'What if Exile on Main St. was recorded in Kentucky?'

BUZZARD features Grammy nominated singer songwriter Blaine Cartwright of Nashville Pussy and Nine Pound Hammer.
Grammy nominated Ruyter Suys, guitarist of Nashville Pussy makes her debut on keyboards, mandolin and vocals.
Earl Crim guitarist of Nine Pound Hammer and the Yellow Belts is on guitar. Brian Malone of The 45's on bass and Rob L Hulsman of the Scissorman and Nine Pound Hammer plays drums. And Andy Brasher on vocals and guitar and all around Southern Charm.

BUZZARD is currently entertaining offers from labels and completing the final touches on their soon to be historic debut album.
