New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Jay King has been doing
Internet radio for 6 1/2 years and today it has paid off. He is now officially an on air personality at KDEE 97.5fm in Sacramento a terrestrial radio station (owned and operated by the black chamber of commerce). He will be on in the drive time slot from 3 to 6pm Tuesday through Thursday. His show is called "Traffic Jams." Says Jay, "This is a big opportunity that I do not take lightly, for Aubry Stone (President Of the

Director & G.M) to trust me with their air time and believe in my talents as an on air personality humbles me and makes me want to work at being the best I can be and prove to them they made the right choice."
Jay King is the leader of Club Nouveau and continues to perform & record with
Valerie English (Val) and Samuelle Prater (Sam). All are original members of Club Nouveau who have just recently released a new CD Consciousness available now through
Cleopatra Records. Their first single "That Ain't Love" made it to the top 25 on Billboard'ss Urban AC charts. When Val and Sam were asked if they were concerned with Jay getting bogged down in radio they both said "This is nothing new. Jay has always done more than one thing at a time." Said Sam, "I listen to Jay on his online radio network every morning on 'Kings In The Morning' from 8 to10am Monday through Friday and as soon as he's done we're on the phone doing our business. I don't see the KDEE gig being any different." Val said "I'm excited for him and for us because he's playing classic R&B music both old and new which gives us an opportunity to be heard as members of Club Nouveau and in our solo careers."
"I honestly believe you can reach for and grab every dream, desire, opportunity and goal you have in mind, but it requires consistent work on your part, often without pay and if you do that work it will payoff and I have never been afraid to do the work, today is the payoff for me," says Jay King. "Now I'm starting to work on getting our musical vibration Consciousness heard by the masses, so the work is never done and I love it."
