J. Cole's 'KOD' Set For No 1 On The US Top Album Chart With 2018's Biggest Debut!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) J. Cole is set for his 5tth No 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with his latest studio effort, KOD. Reports indicate that Cole's fifth album will earn between 375,000 and 390,000 units (140-155,000 traditional) in its first week of availability, as per HITS Daily Double. That should be enough to bow in the lead position.

The projections follow record-breaking figures. KOD reportedly shattered both Spotify and Apple Music's 24-hour records with astounding numbers upon its release. The LP's title track "KOD" is also Spotify's most-streamed song in a 24-hour period.

If KOD starts as expected, it would surpass Justin Timberlake's Man of the Woods for the biggest week of 2018. Woods debuted at No. 1 with 293,000 units earned in the week ending Feb. 8, according to Nielsen Music. KOD would also log the biggest week for any album since Taylor Swift's reputation bowed atop the list with 1.24 million units earned in the week ending Nov. 16, 2017.

Despite his streaming success, Cole seems to have an issue finding a physical copy of KOD. The Dreamville boss took to Twitter to ask where he might be able to find his album. "How I can't find a physical copy to my own shit?" he tweeted. Today, he shared a link to autographed copies and bundles.

KOD, also dubbed Kids on Drugs, King Overdosed, and Kill Our Demons, is an album about addictions.
Cole's last two albums, 2016's 4 Your Eyez Only and 2014's 2014 Forest Hills Drive, both reached the top spot as well. The former is now platinum, while the latter is certified 2x platinum.
