Boston (The Sinclair, Aug. 1), New York (Le Poisson Rouge, Aug. 3), Philadelphia (South, Aug. 5-6), and

Kandace is currently in the U.K. where her new Blue Note debut Soul Eyes has met with enthusiastic praise including a 5-star review in The Times of London who declared �This gently acoustic, sophisticated and affecting album is one of the year�s best so far.� In a 4-star review MOJO marveled at her �sensuous vocals� and �intimate, low-key jazz-infused approach that is drawing comparisons with Norah Jones�s early work,� adding �No wonder
Prince was a fan.� The Guardian raved that �she has a rare ability that can�t be taught � to sound like an old soul, just doing what comes naturally.�
Soul Eyes was produced by Grammy-winner Larry Klein (Lizz Wright,
Melody Gardot, Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock) and touches on soul and pop while channeling her jazz influences as well as her Nashville upbringing. The album�s eleven songs are a mix of Kandace�s originals and co-writes as well as the jazz classic �Soul Eyes� plus songs by
