The title track, inspired by their recent trip to
India (see video link), is summed up in the line: "No better way to wake up than a rickshaw ride at 4 a.m. on the streets of Mumbai". The sound is complemented by the merging of eastern influence and American Blues that is as hypnotic as it is unique. "Jailhouse" is a cheeky contemporary rocking soul and Motown-influenced number about the non-negotiables in relationships. "
Hole In My Heart" is a classic rocker-in-the-making that warns the listener about the consequences of causing the recipient grief.
"Shine that song Like Gold," a collaboration with Grammy-winning lyricist Terry Abrahamson, tells the story of the fabled "lost" Robert Johnson song. The sound is best described as the collective offspring of Tom Waits, Martha & The Vandellas, Motown Rhythm Section,
Keith Richards and Billy Gibbons (with
