Parachute By Mapquest Launches Sounds Local, A New Video And Music Web Series

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Sounds Local, a new web series from Parachute, the editorial division of MapQuest, recently launched with its first two cities. In this one-of-a-kind online series, a variety of artists from across the country bring fans into their favorite cities including Portland, San Diego, Minneapolis, Athens, Kansas City and Philadelphia.

"Parachute brings locals, explorers and travelers further into a destination," said James Kerley, Senior Editor of Parachute. "What better way to do that than with the musicians who live there?
