New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Eric Boulanger, founder and principal mastering engineer at The Bakery, will moderate a panel at the upcoming "Making Vinyl" Conference, November 6-7, 2017, at the Westin Book
Cadillac Hotel in Detroit. The panel is taking place from 8:50-9:35 a.m. on day 2 of the conference, Tuesday, November 7. Boulanger will moderate the panel, titled The Fine Art of Mastering & Lathe Cutting, which will feature leading members of the audio community, including Matt Earley, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Gotta Groove Records; Ryan Smith, Senior Mastering Engineer, Sterling Sound; Adam Gonsalves, Owner, Telegraph Mastering; Michael Dixon, Owner,
Mobile Vinyl Recorders; and Chris Mara, Owner, Welcome To 1979 Studios / Mara Machines.
These industry leaders will discuss a wide range of topics including the workflow of mastering new mixes up to the time the project is on the lathe; artist relations and reference discs; approaches to record label relations and how to manage their expectations; working with manufacturing; and more.
