Yamaha R-N803 Introduces A New World Of Hi-Fi Stereo With Wireless Connectivity Options, Modern Technology, And Elegant Design
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "This is a receiver for music-heads looking to bridge from the legacy physical media of vinyl and CDs to the more modern platforms of downloaded music files and music streaming services," said Robert Goedken, general manager, AV division, Yamaha Corporation of America.

The R-N803 Hi-Fi stereo receiver from Yamaha reflects the perfect marriage of beauty and brains. It combines a traditional elegant appearance with modern technology that delivers the highest sound quality from a wide array of legacy, networked and online music sources offering unsurpassed connectivity options through MusicCast multi-room wireless audio.

The 2.1-channel receiver will satisfy demanding music enthusiasts who enjoy vinyl records, high-resolution music files, and everything in between. For additional flexibility, the R-N803 features Yamaha MusicCast wireless multi-room technology, which plays music via Wi-Fi throughout the house to MusicCast-enabled products — including Yamaha AV receivers, sound bars, speakers, and Hi-Fi receivers — all controlled wirelessly from a mobile device.

"This is a receiver for music-heads looking to bridge from the legacy physical media of vinyl and CDs to the more modern platforms of downloaded music files and music streaming services," said Robert Goedken, general manager, AV division, Yamaha Corporation of America. "Yamaha then went one step further with MusicCast. With the R-N803 Hi-Fi stereo receiver, you can now deliver the emotion of classical, hip-hop, and everything in between in one room or throughout the whole home wirelessly. By incorporating a wide range of proprietary and emerging audio technologies together, the R-N803 promises any music lover the ultimate musical experience that can be shared throughout the home."

The R-N803 is the first network Hi-Fi receiver with YPAO™ (Yamaha Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer) technology. Previously reserved for high-performance home theater components, YPAO tunes speaker response to produce the best possible sound for the specific room in which the R-N803 will be enjoyed. YPAO delivers life-like studio-quality sound by automatically correcting for the effects of non-ideal speaker placement and a room's less-than-ideal acoustic characteristics.

Additionally, YPAO-R.S.C. (YPAO - Reflected Sound Control) makes music sound clear and crisp by adjusting and compensating for unwanted sound that is reflected off nearby surfaces.

Other advanced technologies also help draw out the delicate and expressive nuances of music. Key technologies include Yamaha ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) circuitry, which preserves audio-signal purity, and a 192kHz/24-bit ESS Sabre DAC™ (digital-to-analog converter), which effortlessly handles the prodigious amounts of data in high-resolution files.

Compatible sources include networked PCs and network-attached storage devices with DLNA®, mobile devices with wireless Apple® AirPlay® or Bluetooth®, and multiple streaming services, including Spotify, Pandora®, Deezer, Napster, SiriusXM Internet Radio, TIDAL, and numerous free internet radio stations. The R-N803 also plays multiple high-res formats, including 192kHz/24-bit FLAC, WAV and AIFF and 2.8/5.6MHz DSD.

For use with legacy sources, the R-N803 features a dedicated phono input to add a turntable. Two optical and two coaxial digital inputs connect CD players, Blu-ray Disc™ players, and TVs.

The Yamaha R-N803 network Hi-Fi stereo receiver will be available on September 22 at $799.95 MSRP. To learn more, please visit https://4wrd.it/R-N803
