Music Festival that will also feature special performances by Audien, AWOLNATION, Sleigh Bells, Rae Sremmurd, Desiigner, Timeflies, Madeon, Marshmello, Wale,
Nervo and more. The highly anticipated festival, produced by Billboard, the leading global destination for charts, news, trends and innovations in music, in partnership with Live Nation, the world's leading live entertainment company, will bring together some of the biggest chart-topping artists on August 20 and 21 at New York's Nikon at Jones Beach Theater and surrounding beach areas for a weekend of epic music performances. Music Festival is presented by L'Or�al Paris F�ria, MasterCard, The Patch by SOUR PATCH KIDS, and W Hotels Worldwide. Citi� MasterCard� cardholders will have access to an exclusive pre-sale, presented by MasterCard, beginning Wednesday May 18 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. Limited quantity of two-day tickets will be $75 during the pre-sale. Tickets for the general public go on sale May 21 at 10:00 a.m. EDT at www.livenation.com.
Last year, the Billboard Hot 100
Music Festival shattered attendance records for Nikon at Jones Beach Theater attracting over 40,000 fans during the festival's inaugural weekend. Billboard and Live Nation promise fans yet another incredible festival in 2016 with some of the biggest chart-topping artists of the year converging on Jones Beach for a massive weekend of live music and entertainment. Collectively, the festival lineup has earned 81 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and have sold a combined 80 million albums and songs in the U.S., according to Nielsen Music. They also represent some of this generation's biggest social media influencers, with a massive fan following across Twitter, Facebook and other platforms.
This year's event will bring together dozens of Billboard-charting artists spanning multiple genres, from pop and rock to R&B and dance for one of the most electrifying and diverse festivals this summer.
