Theaters across the country will have a unique cinema experience for this one-time event, showcasing many of alt-J's hits from its debut album, 2012's An Awesome Wave, and songs from the band's most recent album, This Is All Yours, which was released in 2014 and received a 2015 GRAMMY nomination for Best Alternative
Music Album.

"Artists Den Presents alt-J" captures an intense, moody set by the band, filmed at Los Angeles's Hollywood American Legion. The surging, boisterous set includes hit singles "Fitzpleasure," "Breezeblocks," and "Left Hand Free," as well as exclusive concert footage and band interviews that will not been seen anywhere else. The Hollywood American Legion, with its grand vaulted ceilings, made for a historic and dramatic setting that lent itself well to alt-J's edgy, dynamic rock songs.
"It's quite a historic room, a really beautiful room with a huge ceiling," singer and keyboardist Gus Unger-Hamilton said in an interview that was captured for the film. "I don't think the size of the room normally affects the set list, but I think there's a different kind of rapport with the crowd. You can feel it's more personal."
"You just know that crowds are really kind of hungry, and they're just going to eat it up," lead singer and guitarist Joe Newman echoed.
"We're excited to be working with the iconic Artists Den to bring this exclusive concert event to U.S. audiences," said Kymberli Frueh, Fathom Events VP of Programming. "Alt-J captivated an intimate crowd in Los Angeles and now they can offer this same compelling concert to the entire country and with additional bonus content."
