New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Guitarist Bill Frisell has released "God's Wing'd Horse," the second single to be revealed from his stunning Blue Note debut HARMONY, which will be released on October 4. Produced by his longtime collaborator Lee Townsend—and recorded by Tucker Martine at Flora Recording in Portland, Oregon—HARMONY features Frisell with a distinctive quartet featuring Petra Haden, voice; Hank Roberts, cello and voice; and Luke Bergman, acoustic guitar, baritone guitar, bass and voice. "God's Wing'd Horse" follows the release of the lead track "Everywhere." The album can be pre-ordered now and will be released on vinyl, CD, and digital formats.
Frisell will be bringing HARMONY on tour this Fall across the U.S. and
Europe including a performance at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival in San Francisco on October 4, and a 6-night engagement at the Jazz Standard in New York City from November 19-24 during which he will present HARMONY the final two nights.
