Commenting on his new record, Winter said, "I'm getting closer to where I want to be as an artist. Each album is an incredible learning experience. An exceptionally talented songwriter as well as vocalist, Winter co-wrote all seven tracks on the new album. Noted Nashville songwriters featured on the album with Winter include Taylor Phillips, John Gurney and Matt Roy on "Temptation," Tommy Cecil, Jared Mullins and Matt Alderman on "Hands," Vicky McGehee on "I Got Me," and others.
"Temptation," showcases all of the influences that define Carter Winter's fresh, new country sound. From the R&B influenced, "Hands," to "Another Lie," which pays homage to the traditional country sound, to the mischievous "Trouble," and the heartfelt "Skylines," Winter's rich, country vocal resonates and his lyrics pull at the heartstrings.

Carter Winter began playing local bars around his Columbus, Ohio hometown and quickly grew a large fan base of loyal listeners from California to the Carolinas. First well-known for his cover songs of artists that inspired him early on (Garth Brooks,
