Long Live "The King"! Harrah's Philadelphia To Pay Tribute To Elvis Presley
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) On August 15th, Harrah's Philadelphia invites fans to break out their blue suede shoes as it hosts "Rotation Records Presents: Danny Beissel & The Elvis Kings" with supporting guests The Flamin' Caucasians and AM Radio.

This special event will pay tribute to "The King" on the eve of the 38th anniversary of his death with a rare performance by nationally acclaimed singer Danny Beissel & The Elvis Kings.

Beissel, a Philadelphia native, rose to stardom singing for the widely popular group "The Elvis Experience" in the '90s and has performed annually at the prestigious "Night of a 100 ELVISes" charity event in Baltimore, MD to benefit John's Hopkins Children's Center for the past 12 years.

He is currently the lead singer for The American Vinyl All Star Band, featuring Jeffrey "Skunk" Baxter of The Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan, Fran Sheehan and Barry Goudreau formerly of Boston, "Mousey" Thompson of The James Brown Band and Leroy Romans of The Wailers, and travels the country performing classic rock hits from each member's bands.

However, to Beissel, the opportunity to come back to Philadelphia for a night dedicated to Elvis was something he was not going to pass up.

"I've always been drawn to Elvis even from an early age," said Beissel. "His music and spirit were something that has always inspired me as a musician. I can't wait to perform in front of family, friends and Elvis fans!"

Rounding out the evening's entertainment will be the iconic Philadelphia band The Flamin' Caucasians, who performed at former Mayor Ed Rendell's Inaugural Ball and were the house band for the once popular Morning Zoo on WMMR, as well as AM Radio, a popular local group that performs the top hits from the '60s and '70s.

All attendees must be 21 to enter the event. Tickets will be $15.00. Every ticket purchased will receive a $10 match play.
