"Morricone.Uncovered" By Romina Arena And Ennio Morricone To Be Released Today!
LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Perseverance Records) "Morricone.Uncovered", the long-awaited album by international singing star Romina Arena and film scoring legend Ennio Morricone, will be released in European stores today and in the rest of the world tomorrow. In addition, the album can be ordered at Amazon, iTunes and Yahoo, and on the website of Perseverance Records (www.perseverancerecords.com). With a running time of 57 minutes, "Morricone.Uncovered" is available at a price of $15.95.

"Morricone.Uncovered" features 15 movie themes composed by film scoring legend Ennio Morricone, who has sold millions of records. The tracks have been arranged and produced by award winning arrangers and producers Giovanni Lodigiani, Francesco Morettini and Luca Angelosanti, with the extraordinary appearance of hit producer-songwriter Rick Allison, and an exciting duet with world tenor Marcello Giordani.

World-renowned 'Queen of Popera' Romina Arena (with 4 million sold albums to her name) wrote original lyrics in English, Italian, Spanish and French to these themes. She performs the songs in her marvelous trademark voice and is accompanied by the Dohnányi Orchestra Budafok. Recordings have taken place in Budapest (Hungary), San Gemini and Siracusa (Italy), Santa Monica and Sherman Oaks (California, USA) and in Quebec (Canada).

Romina says: "My deepest admiration and respect goes to my mentor Ennio Morricone. With this record, he has definitely made a difference in my life and my career!" Robin Esterhammer, owner of Perseverance Records, says: "It is very rare when two extraordinary and successful people come together with their amazing talents and combine them to create something unique that has never been explored before. I´m sure people will be as excited as I am!"

In August, there were four single releases from "Morricone.Uncovered" already. They featured "Ti Ho Amato" from "Once Upon a Time in America", "The Woman in Me" from "Lolita", "Il Cuore Mio - Mi Corazon" from "La Piovra", as well as "What Can I Do?" and "E un Attimo", both from "The Legend of 1900".

About Romina Arena
Music for Romina has been the vibration of her life since she was just a child. She was a Mouseketeer for Disney's Mickey Mouse club in Italy called "Topolino," and performed as a classical ballerina in major Italian theaters at the age of 7. The amazing and talented Romina Arena has overcome adversity in her rise to stardom. At age 15, she suffered a vicious attack in Italy that severed her vocal cords and rendered her comatose for many months. Romina, with true determination, not only survived the attack, but also completely recovered to become an international superstar with a five-octave vocal range. It is her powerful POPERA style (pop meets classical) that makes her unique and without comparison. Her ability to sing, speak and write music fluently in 10 different languages has allowed her to open many doors to the international music market. Romina has performed with such POPERA artists as Andrea Bocelli, Alessandro Safina, Il Divo, Mario Frangoulis, and she also opened for Celine Dion at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
