Rod Stewart Releases "Grace" Taken From New Album 'Blood Red Roses,' Out September 28, 2018
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) With just a week until the release of his 30th studio album Blood Red Roses, Rod Stewart releases, "Grace". The brand new track follows hot on the heels of the latest singles, "Look In Her eyes" and "Didn't I", released earlier this month via Decca/Universal Music.

Originally an Irish folk song, "Grace" is also frequently heard in the stands of Celtic FC, of whom Rod is a lifelong fan. "It's about a love affair between a young couple, childhood sweethearts, that took place in Ireland during the rebellion, the uprising against the English in 1916." Says Rod; "He was sentenced to death and a few hours before his execution they got married in the jail and were allowed 15 minutes together. He was taken out the following morning and shot. 'As the dawn is breaking, my heart is breaking too.' It's just devastating."

Blending poignant observation, self-reflective introspection and playful swagger Rod's 30th studio album Blood Red Roses is a deeply personal 13-track collection of originals and three covers. The new record follows international bestsellers Another Country (2015) and Time (2013) and will be released nearly 50 years to the date from when he signed his very first solo recording contract!
With his signature voice, style and songwriting, Rod Stewart has transcended all genres of popular music, from rock, folk, soul, R&B, and even the American standards; making him one of the few stars to enjoy chart-topping albums throughout every decade of his career.

He's earned countless of the industry's highest awards, among them, two inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the ASCAP Founders Award for songwriting, New York Times bestselling author, Grammy™ Living Legend, and in 2016 he officially became 'Sir Rod Stewart' after being knighted by Prince William at Buckingham Palace for his services to music and charity. During his 50-plus year career, he's amassed sales of more than 200 million albums and singles and won himself legions of lifelong fans worldwide.
