With their first-ever awards luncheon dedicated solely to their growing family of jazz affiliates, SESAC presented national performance activity awards for recordings that reached the Top-5 on the jazz charts for the year 2003 through June 30, 2004. Among the highlights of this elegant affair was a performance by SESAC affiliate/Telarc recording artist Geri Allen, who featured a selection from her latest No 1 hit recording, The Life of a Song.
