Seattle-Based Septet The Dip Debuts New Song "Slow Sipper"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, Seattle-based septet, The Dip, debuts their new song "Slow Sipper." Spinning masterful lyrics with vintage rhythm and blues, the Pacific Northwest darlings showcase storytelling that is both raw and polished.

The track is a melancholy bar room fantasy of a cocktail-sipping siren who captures the mind of a man through the obscuring haze of cigarette smoke. With soulful sounds of trumpets, guitar riffs and the raspy vocal variety of the track, "Slow Sipper," reveals a taste of their upcoming album.

Currently on their first ever run of headlining Northeast tour dates, the band sold out their NYC show at Mercury Lounge and Boot and Saddle in Philadelphia, with the New York show selling out three weeks before the tour date.

In 2015, the band's self titled debut LP recorded to tape at Avast! Studios propelled the group through word of mouth to local acclaim. Many members already deeply interwoven in the tight knit Seattle music scene, The Dip was quickly embraced in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to their relentlessly crafted sound mastered during late nights in the studio, their infectious live shows prove to be the foundation of their success- leading to performances at Sasquatch!, Bumbershoot, Capitol Hill Block Party and Electric Forest.

Additional news on upcoming album coming soon.
The Dip band members:
Tom Eddy (vocals/guitar)
Jacob Lundgren (guitar)
Mark Hunter (bass)
Jarred Katz (drums)
Evan Smith (baritone saxophone)
Levi Gillis (tenor sax)
Brennan Carter (trumpet)
