NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ KOCH Records) - May 13, 2008, is a day that Simone, daughter of legendary Nina Simone will never forget. It is the day that her debut solo album titled Simone on Simone releases in-stores and online nationwide.

The High Priestess/KOCH Records album is a collection that Simone admirably turns in tour-de-force performances of little-known gems from her mother's recorded repertoire and one original song she wrote for her mom.
