Stanley Clarke dropped in at Bernie's with recording engineer
Bobby Campbell and drummer Gerry Brown to master the score soundtrack to "Barbershop: The Next Cut" with mastering engineer Mike Bozzi.

Clarke is one of the most celebrated acoustic and electric bass players in the world, and is equally gifted as a recording artist, performer, composer, conductor, arranger, producer and film score composer. A true pioneer in jazz and jazz-fusion, Clarke is particularly known for his ferocious bass dexterity and consummate musicality. Unquestionably, he has attained "living legend" status during his over 40-year career as a bass virtuoso.
About his work on "Barbershop: The Next Cut," Clarke says: "This is my 6th movie working with Malcolm D. Lee. It is always great to work with a comprehensive and detailed director. I am very happy to contribute to this successful franchise. This movie in particular has a deep relevant connection with the times we live in."
