The Infamous Stringdusters Announce New Live Album 'Live From Telluride' And Additional 2019 Tour Dates
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) GRAMMY-winning band THE INFAMOUS STRINGDUSTERS are announcing a new live album, Live From Telluride, out this Friday, November 16 on all digital retailers and platforms. The 20-track release features a wide-ranging set spanning the band's 12-year career with tracks from their eight previous studio albums, including 2017's Laws Of Gravity, which won a GRAMMY for "Best Bluegrass Album," and a few covers which THE STRINGDUSTERS have been known to incorporate into their live set. Jambase exclusively premiered the band's version of The Grateful Dead's "Tennessee Jed".

Banjoist Chris Pandolfi reflects on the live show recorded for Live From Telluride: "Telluride Bluegrass has been the center of the acoustic festival universe for many years, and we have been really honored to be involved in that. The fans are knowledgeable, but even more importantly, they are always down to connect with the moment and bring a lot of energy to the performance. It's a place of deep inspiration because of the amazing surroundings, but also the amazing musical company. You feel it every time you step on stage there, and this show was no exception. We knew pretty much right after the show that this was a show worth putting out there. Hope you guys enjoy!"
The bluegrass mavericks--Andy Hall (dobro), Andy Falco (guitar), Chris Pandolfi (banjo), Jeremy Garrett (fiddle), and Travis Book (upright bass)--are also putting a new round of 2019 tour dates on sale this week. In addition to the previously announced January dates, kicking off January 16 at The Troubadour in Los Angeles, CA, the new dates will take THE STRINGDUSTERS from coast-to-coast. Midnight North, Shook Twins and John Craigie will open select dates. A list of all dates is below, and select pre-sale tickets are available now at www.thestringdusters.com/tour; general on-sale is November 16 at 10am MT.

Earlier this week, the band announced a special show with Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band on Wednesday, May 29 at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Pre-sale tickets are available starting November 14 at 10am MT and general on-sale begins November 16 at 10am MT HERE.
"Phil Lesh is a legend, in every sense of the word," shares bassist Travis Book. "To see him play is an honor, to share the same space with him a privilege, and to share the stage is beyond words. We're truly grateful for the opportunity to perform at the world's most iconic venue with one of the world's most iconic bass players and musicians."

All this live music news sets the stage for what's sure to be an exciting 2019. THE STRINGDUSTERS have revealed that they've completed recording of their next full-length studio album; the group shared, "Our new album is done!! We got deep into a bunch of new music and we are really excited about the way things turned out. Huge thanks to our amazing engineer/co-producer Billy Hume and to everyone here at Mighty Fine Productions in Denver."
