Civil Wars' Producer Charlie Peacock Debuts Video For Album Opener "Death Trap" On CMT
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Missing Piece Group) Today, CMT.com premiered the video for Charlie Peacock's "Death Trap." The rootsy track is the album opener off of his upcoming album No Man's Land, which is set for release on October 2, 2012. This long awaited album is his first vocal recording in over 12 years.

You can watch the video at https://on.cmt.com/OtiTa2 or below.

The set of 12 new tracks began its gestation over a three-day break between other productions, and is the culmination of a lifetime of making music. "I was trying to capture something of the sound of my grandparents' America - especially Louisiana and Oklahoma - Cajun two-steps, ruckus, and dust, lots of dust."

Peacock is best known as the producer behind the Grammy-winning breakout group The Civil Wars and their much-lauded album Barton Hollow. Already in 2012, the acclaimed producer has worked with Bela Fleck, Alison Krauss, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ricky Skaggs, and Holly Williams.

Peacock is also offering a sampler of rare music via Noisetrade. The collection of songs include "Beauty Left The Room" and "Mystic" from No Man's Land, "Big River," "In The Light," and "Big Man's Hat" from the Noisetrade Acoustic Sessions, and four instrumental songs from two of his jazz albums. Download the sampler here: https://noisetrade.com/charliepeacock.
