MIAMI, FL. (Luck Media & Marketing/ www.luckmedia.com) - Beloved vocalist Cali Aleman (www.cali-aleman.com) has returned from his travels through South America with much more than stories to tell. He has unpacked the hot salsa styles of Colombia and Puerto Rico, and the hip street swagger of New York City for a thrilling album that reunites the Grammy-nominated Aleman with the famed Original Latin Allstars ("Macarena," "I Like It Like That," "Oye Como Va") for their Empire Musicwerks (www.empiremusicwerks.com) debut, "La Victoria," set for release March 8th.

The album includes an updated version of the biggest-selling salsa single of all time, "Torero," written by Grammy-winning songwriter and arranger Nino Caicedo, who received statues for best composer. The song, which sold 600,000 copies worldwide, was first recorded by Aleman's Orquestra Guayacan for their 1993 album, "Los Batazos del Ano." Caicedo has composed the equally dazzling follow-up, "La Victoria," for Cali Aleman.

Cuban-born and Miami-based Aleman, the true innovator of Spanglish songs in 1985 with "I Like it Like That," has brought together many of the Original Latin Allstars, including 8-time Grammy Award winner percussionist Richard Bravo (Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin) four-time Grammy-winning pianist Quique Purizaga (who arranged the updated version of "Torero," as well as "La Victoria"), and salsa trombonist Jorge Doval (Gloria Estefan, Luis Miguel), for what the charming frontman describes as an album of "nice colors and nice sounds."
Sway to the beat and catch the heat.
