New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, Mapache share "Me Voy Pa'l Pueblo," an impeccable take on the classic bolero popularized by Los Panchos that exemplifies the pan-California sound the duo execute so faithfully on their new album, From Liberty Street (out March 20 on Yep Roc Records). Following a series of tour dates opening for Allah-Las in both Europe and North America, Mapache have now announced spring US tour dates.

"Me Voy Pa'l Pueblo" is from Mapache's Yep Roc debut From Liberty Street, named as a tribute to their home in East Los Angeles where they wrote and recorded much of the album. The track is just one of several songs on the album sung in Spanish. "Traditional Mexican music has always been an important influence on our sound," says Sam Blasucci. "With this record, we had more time than ever to dive into that world."
"Writing and singing in Spanish was also reflective of life on Liberty Street," adds Finch. "Mexican culture and music are intertwined into the fabric of the neighborhood and shaped our experiences living there."

From Liberty Street lead single "Life On Fire" was just named one of NPR Music's 10 Songs Public Radio Can't Stop Playing — NPR praises its "charmingly loose-yet-deliberate groove, so strong you can basically hear the sunshine." Listen here:https://youtu.be/-wLquILK0XY

KCRW says "Mapache's chemistry is undeniable" while they've been praised by Aquarium Drunkard as "a blazed-up Everly Brothers." Late last year, Yep Roc reissued Mapache's self-titled debut from 2017, which was cut live and raw around a single microphone. Praised by Aquarium Drunkard, UK magazine Shindig and others, that record helped the band earn festival appearances at Pickathon and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, where Rolling Stone named their set one of the weekend's top highlights, as well as tour dates with Chris Robinson, Beachwood Sparks, and Mandolin Orange.
