MIAMI BEACH, FL. (Top40 Charts/ Ocean Drive Media Group) - Ocean Drive magazine in partnership with the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee and Miami Marketing Group (MMG) will produce a weekend of mega-events all contained within a three-block footprint on the beach just off the famed Ocean Drive in the heart of South Beach, capped by a Saturday night gala.

The crown jewel of Super Bowl week will the Ocean Drive/Market America Super XLI Gala, a star-studded event open to 2,000 celebrities, athletes and VIP's and feature private dining prepared by celebrity chef Todd English.

The Sprint Style Villa will anchor the weekend expected to draw hundreds of athletes, celebrities, media, VIPs and consumers. Corporations have gravitated to the unique events with commitments from DirecTV, Absolut, Speedo, Ed Hardy and Original Penguin.

With hospitality at a premium during Super Bowl, the Sprint Style Villa will be a private, exclusive celebrity and athlete haven and recreate an exclusive beach club complete with a two-story glass hospitality house featuring experiences from approximately 18 brands.

Sprint Power View, the first, dedicated made-for-mobile video programming network will base its Super Bowl XLI coverage from the Sprint Style Villa.

While Sprint Style Villa and the Saturday night event will be invite-only, two other daytime events taking place in the Village Arena will be open to the public, each expected to draw well over 20,000 spectators:
* On Thursday, February 1, 2007, DirecTV will host its first annual DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl, featuring athletes and celebrities facing off on a sandy gridiron. A live concert element will be integrated following each quarter; line ups to be announced shortly.
* On Saturday, February 3, 2007, Ocean Drive magazine's annual Volleypalooza hits the beach with over 350 models, celebrities and athletes competing all day in volleyball competitions with a live concert featuring a chart-topping act and celeb-fave DJ AM. Seven-time Olympic gold medalist, Amanda Beard will emcee a sexy Speedo swimwear fashion show as well as practice her spiking skills in a celebrity exhibition volleyball match.

To lure event sponsors, Ocean Drive commissioned Miami-based Turbulence Advertising to design six-foot-high NFL-sized lockers containing custom designed helmets, jerseys, towels, and play-books, and then shipped them to a select group of major marketing officers at top brands and agencies.

The Super Bowl partnership was announced with the objective of producing event-based content unlike anything corporations have been able to be involved with, celebrities and VIPs have been able to attend and media has been able to cover. The team has experience creating and/or producing some of the Super Bowl's most sought after events over the past seven annual tournaments.
