NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - 'To The Bone', a retail store for independent artists, is proud to announce the addition of a rising Latin singer Micky Cruz. Producing 4 albums since the age of fifteen Micky has impressed the likes of Bo Diddley and music magazines. He was orphaned at the age of two when his family was killed in the Nicaraguan war in the late 1970's and raised himself on the streets of Central America and Mexico at the age of seven.
Micky is a self taught musician who writes and produces all of his own music. His musical career would begin as a survival tatic in the everyday conditions of a third world country. Micky says "I never thought that music would be my career. I just did it because people seemed to enjoy my voice and it was the quickest way to get money so that I could get something to eat." Singing on the streets of Central America and the busses of Mexico for spare change, he overcame the struggles of a homeless life.

He began to perform as a solo artist when he moved to the United States and recorded his first CD at the age of fifteen.

It didn't take long for Micky's story to reach the Univision newsroom. He was invited to do an interview and happened to meet Bo Diddley at the station that morning. Bo took a liking to Micky, and asked his producer, Scott, to take care of Micky. Scott took Micky to Bo's recording studio, and they came up with Micky's second CD "Dulces Recuerdos" eight months later.

"Cumbegue" is Micky's fourth CD now and the best yet. It has already placed on the Atlantic Satellite music charts. Billboard magazine has put together a Latin sampler compilation CD in response to the Latin explosion and has included Micky's song "Morena".

It will be released to all major Latin radio stations nation wide.
