Nicky Jam Is The Most-Nominated Artist For The Latin American Music Awards With 6 Nominations
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Latin-urban singer and songwriter, Nicky Jam, continues his streak of accomplishments around the world receiving six nominations for the first edition of the Latin American Music Awards. The artist is nominated in the following categories: "Artist of the Year", "Favorite Male Artist - Urban", "Favorite Collaboration", "Single of the Year" and "Favorite Song". These last three categories are for Nicky Jam's hit song, "El Perdón" with Enrique Iglesias. His sixth nomination comes under the category "Favorite Streaming Song" in which the artist has two songs nominated "El Perdón" with Enrique Iglesias and "Travesuras" which is the song that brought Nicky Jam back into the musical scene in the U.S. and LATAM.

The Latin American Music Awards will air live from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California on the Telemundo TV network on October 8th. Dick Clark Productions who have produced the anglo version of this ceremony since 1973, will be in charge of production in conjunction with the network.

In a statement, Nicky Jam said "I'm excited and thankful with all my fans for supporting me in this phase of my life. I never get tired of giving thanks for everything that's happening to my career in this moment."

The artist premiered the music video for "Forgiveness," the English version of "El Perdón," at the YouTube Space studios in New York, where he received very positive coverage from the English-language press. This premiere is part of Nicky Jam's media tour in New York City where had the chance to talk with thousands of fans who attended a Q&A session both present and online. BuzzFeed en Español moderated the Q&A and video premiere.
