Music Evil is proud to present one of these events at Barracuda's Inside Stage. Kicking off at 5pm local time, headliners Mystic Braves will come on well past midnight with the concert to end at 2am. They will be preceded by pioneering soul-shoegaze outfit The Veldt, as well as Floorian, Sugar Candy Mountain, and the Turns!

The Turns - The Turns are a psychedelic rock and R&B band from Los Angeles, California. The group consists of songwriter Michael Eng (vocals, guitar),
Danny Winebarger (vocals, guitar), Jonathan Baron (keyboard, guitar),

The Committee To Keep
Music Evil formed in 2001 after the Brian Jonestown Massacre's 'Strung Out In Heaven' tenure with TVT records expired. In conjunction with Greg Shaw and Bomp! Records, founder Anton Newcombe felt he needed to beat The Man at his own game. The Plan was to release BJM music not available through other channels, and to record new bands which we will be producing from time to time�while pursuing the goal of making the world unsafe for rock and roll, releasing BJM albums and releases from artists Floorian, The Lovetones and The Telescopes.
In 2007, the Committee formed a partnership with
Cargo Records in the UK, focused on re-releasing the entire BJM catalog on vinyl and expanded the catalog by bringing in new artists, including The Quarter After and The Asteroid #4. In 2011, when Anton stepped aside to launch his new Berlin-based imprint 'A Records', he left the helm to Quarter After / BJM musician, producer & engineer Rob Campanella (Los Angeles), opening the doors to other artists offering psychedelic-tinged music and becoming the home base for all things psychedelic.
Barracuda is also hosting a second outdoor stage, sponsored by Burger Records and featuring Quintron & Miss Pussycat, Coathangers, Leviation Room, and Death Valley Girls. Two other pre-parties for the Levitation Festival are being held (see below for further information).
