LOS ANGELES (mun2) - mun2 ('moon-dos'), the bilingual network that celebrates the lifestyle of
Latino young adults, announces a jam-packed exciting November as it launches Day in Day Out" with Colombian rocker Juanes, and features some of the hottest young artists on "Daily Shift," "18 and Over," "2RSLVJ," and "En Juego."
Monday through Friday at 7p.m., direct from Universal Studios Hollywood, mun2 gives viewers the "Daily Shift," featuring today's best artists, and the most eclectic mix of entertainment in English and Spanish. This month, the "mun2 talks to..." segment will feature East Coast hardcore rapper 50 Cent, Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, who will speaks about her new film "Aeon Flux," and Daniel Radcliff, the young actor who has obtained international stardom with his role as Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliff. All will answer questions directly from viewers, giving information on what the audience really wants to know.
To start their weekend, viewers can tune into "18 and Over" every Friday at 8p.m. for the latest music news and videos from popular and up-and-coming artists. The two-hour countdown featuring all types of genres goes on the road this month with a special London edition featuring the WB release of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," which will air on November 11. Along with the 18 biggest videos of the week, the show will also include interviews with all the stars of the new film.
On Saturdays at 9p.m., music fans will also want to tune in to "2RSLVJ", and see their favorite artists take the VJ hot seat and give a one-hour dose of their favorite clips and videos. Mexican pop sensation, Lu will play the best of pop and rock on November 5, Frankie J, the hottest Latin crooner will bring his silky smooth style on November 12, and Hector "The father", will play his favorite reggaeton hits on November 19.
On Saturday, November 19th at 10p.m. mun2 will also launch "Day In Day Out," a half-hour special that follows Colombian rock-en-español artist Juanes during a two-day period in preparation for one of the most important events in his career, a free concert in front of 120,000 people in celebration of the 330th anniversary of his native city of Medellin. Viewers will take a look at his favorite hang-outs in this part of the world, enjoy behind-the-scenes footage of his preparation for the magnum event, and obtain the latest insight from his band mates and fellow "Medallos" (people from Medellin) in regards to their favorite citizen as he prepares to release his album "Mi Sangre."
Every Sunday at 8:30p.m., gaming fanatics can see the latest on new or revamped releases and up-to-the-minute trends on the world of games & technology. The program also features the popular celebrity vs celebrity video game challenges with Bacilos vs Angel y Khriz on November 6 and Lu vs. Javier Garcia on November 20. In addition, "En Juego" wil feature a show from Jillian's in Los Angeles on November 13.
Finally, viewers can check out the first five 30-second shorts by Los Angeles-based artist and satirist "Lalo Alcaraz, who has developed an animated series originally produced with mun2 humor. The hardheaded son of Mexican immigrants, and "La Cucaracha" and "Migra Mouse" creator, is well known for cartoons that demand justice and fair treatment for immigrants, Latinos, and minorities.
