Miami, FL (Top40 Charts/ Univision Communications Inc.) - Univision today announced the star-studded lineup for its 7th Annual 'Premios Juventud' Youth Awards and is set to deliver another night of spectacular performances, featuring the biggest line-up and number of musical acts in its history. Superstar Shakira will open the show in a spectacular production featuring her latest hit 'Gitana' (Gypsy) as well as 'Waka Waka (Esto Es Africa / This Time For Africa),' the official song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. In addition, international artist Enrique Iglesias will debut his new single 'Cuando Me Enamoro' for the first time on television alongside music icon Juan Luis Guerra; Miami's Mr. 305 and hip-hop superstar Pitbull will perform a blowout mix of his hits; multiplatinum recording artist Juanes will make a special appearance to perform his latest single 'El Yerbatero;' and reggaet�n star duo Wisin y Yandel will deliver a show-stopping number along with the Hollywood freestyle dance crew from the movie 'Step Up 3,' among others. Broadcast LIVE from Miami, FL 'Premios Juventud' will air on Thursday, July 15 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm Central) on the Univision Television Network.

Additional performers include pop group Camila, singer/songwriter Espinoza Paz, reggaet�n diva Ivy Queen, regional Mexican music icon Pedro Fern�ndez, singer/actress Belinda, Argentine singer/songwriter Diego Torres joined by pop singer Noel Scharjis, pop artist Anah�, Mexican singer Cristina Eustace, and singer/actress Dulce Mar�a, making her television debut as a solo artist. Also taking the stage are up-and-coming artists Chino y Nacho with 'Mi Ni�a Bonita,' Larry Hern�ndez with 'Carita de Angel,' Prince Royce with 'Stand by Me;' and Venezuelan pop sensation Carlos Baute joined by Spanish diva Marta S�nchez for the highly-anticipated performance of their hit song 'Colgando en Tus Manos' for the first time on television in the U.S.

'Premios Juventud' will also recognize two prolific artists with special awards. Singer/songwriter Shakira will be honored with this year's 'Supernova' award, while music legend Juan Luis Guerra will receive a special recognition as an 'Idolo de Generaciones.'

Additionally, some of the hottest novela stars and personalities on television today are scheduled to appear, including Amelia Vega, Ana Patricia Gonz�lez (Nuestra Belleza Latina 2010), Andrea G�mez ('Las Mu�ecas de la Mafia'), Blanca Soto ('Eva Luna'), Dyland y Lenny, Eugenio Siller ('Mi Pecado'), Fedro, Guy Ecker ('Eva Luna'), Jacqueline Bracamontes, Mar�a Fernanda Y�pez (Rosario Tijeras), Marlon Moreno ('El Capo'), Michel Brown ('Desaf�o'), Poncho de Anda, Rodner Figueroa, Selena G�mez and Joey King ('Ramona and Beezus' movie ), Scarlet Ortiz, Sebasti�n Zurita, V�ctor Manuelle, and William Levy.

Respected journalist and 'Noticiero Univision' (Univision News) co-anchor Maria Elena Salinas will also be present to announce one of the winners of this year's scholarship awards.

Preceding the awards show telecast, Univision will present exclusive coverage of celebrity arrivals direct from the 'Premios Juventud' carpet starting at 7 pm ET/PT (6 pm Central).

The No 1 awards show of its kind on television honoring recording artists, movie stars, sports figures and pop culture icons popular with this country's Hispanic youth, 'Premios Juventud' is among the most popular awards shows on Spanish-language television. The 2009 broadcast of 'Premios Juventud' reached 8.7 million Total Viewers 2+ who watched all or part of the broadcast and was among the network's top-rated specials for the year.

Fans have voted for their favorite nominees at www.PremiosJuventud.com online and on their mobile phones. Now, they are coming back daily for the latest pre-show coverage and performer highlights, including exclusive photos, news and trivia, and to relive their favorite moments of every past show, including behind-the-scenes photos and the best and worst dressed. In addition, video from performers and past shows will be accessible online and on the Univision Video App for top Smartphones. Users are already buzzing across dedicated forums and MiPagina group pages and this will continue to grow as 'Premios Juventud' gets closer.
