SAN FRANCISCO (Top40-Charts/ Amyschugar.com) - Amy Schugar former co writer of Michael Schenker, gets featured for the September Issue of Guitar Player Magazine. The issue has gone to subscribers around the USA already and will hit the stands in the next few days.
Amy Schugar is a former native of Arizona, where she attended Cortez High School. She now resides in the Bay Area.

Amy seemed to come from a musical background from the start. Her God Mother is the very famous Amalia Mendoza and her Mother a famous Bullfighter and singer named Carla Lee. Carla Lee is also featured in a book called "Women and the Bullring" by Murial Feiner.

Amy is now endorsed by several companies that include, Daisy Rock Guitars, Seymour Duncan Pickups, Fernandez Sustainers, D'Addario Strings, Floyd Rose Guitars, Crate, and Robert Keeley Electronics.
Amy Schugar has also been featured in countless trade magazines and publications world wide and plays at the Winter NAMM shows.

Amy and Michael Schenker wrote an album together called the Schugar Schenker album, and from there Amy's career has started to skyrocket. Michael's goal was to get Amy into the public eye. After hearing and meeting her, he quickly decided that her 14 year day job as a grocery clerk was not what she was cut out for.

Recently Amy and Michael have been in contact and he has suggested that Amy do the vocals on the up and coming album that he will be doing with his brother Rudy Schenker. This is all subject to approval by Rudy, and no definate confirmation has been made on this. It may be indeed a possibility that Amy and Michael work together again someday. The two paired up wonderfully for their first album together.
Amy's gallery page is a fun one to look at with pictures of many stars she has met along the way also.

Amy has started her Amy Schugar band and will be performing the songs that she did with Michael for the Schugar Schenker album, along with many instrumentals and originals she has written. She is a very skilled lead guitar player, as well as singer, and this band is sure to take the typically male dominated rock world by complete surprise. The band consists of Jorge Jacobellis (world class drummer seen at NAMM shows and DW sponsor) Claudio DeLafuente, and Robin Andrews, and George B. There really is nothing out there like this girl and this band. This girl has a great look, singing ability like no one can imagine, and guitar playing skills (which she showcases on a Steve Via JemDY guitar)that blow most guy guitarists away and songwriting talent that is undeniable. Her stage presence is very "big" for such a little girl.

No booking dates have been set yet, but upcoming tour dates can soon be seen along with other information about her at Http://Amyschugar.com
Amy is also in talks with finding possible management to help her in her already extremely busy schedule.
Don't miss out on Amy and her band! Check the site often for news and updates.
