New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, Juno award-winning Canadian band Dear Rouge unveil the music video for their latest single "Live Through The Night." The music video exclusively premiered Friday June 22 with ET Canada - watch the video on Top40-Charts.com!
Directed by Edward Andrews, the "Live Through The Night" music video was shot in the band's hometown of Vancouver. On the video, Andrews said: "Live Through The Night has a sense of the dark and mysterious - a deep bass line that grabs you. I pitched the idea of creatively filming light and liquid in slow-motion based on the theme of 'dark vs. light'. The band as the focus, fighting to 'live through the night and come out alive'. The slow-motion ink in water idea is something I had wanted to test for a long time and believed would be a perfect fit for the music. The way that ink can slowly form colorful shapes can be mesmerizing. From multiple discussions with Danielle and Drew we decided to take a gritty and fast cutting approach to the edit. Hopefully capturing the viewers attention as the music guides them through the 'grit and gloss' visuals, delivering an abstract and mysterious experience."

Dear Rouge announced their national headlining tour in support of their sophomore album, PHASES, kicking off in Saskatoon on September 27. The PHASES Tour will make 22 stops across Canada and the US. The band has partnered with Plus1 Organization for the PHASES tour. $1 from every ticket sold will go towards saving lives, revitalizing communities, and transforming global health through Partners In Health. See below for full tour dates.

The PHASES tour follows the success of top 10 radio single "Boys & Blondes", the first single released from PHASES. Quickly added to Spotify's most prominent playlists including New Music Now and Indie Pop, and Apple Music's Best of the Week playlists, the lead single broke into top 10 at Canadian radio and is continuing to climb, currently sitting at number six. Dear Rouge has also announced "Live Through The Night" as their next official single at Canadian radio.

Formed in 2012, Danielle and Drew McTaggart are partners in life and music that channel their energies into honing their sinewy, hook-driven indie rock. Since their debut in 2015 with critically-acclaimed album, Black To Gold, Dear Rouge has become one of Canada's greatest acts with over 8 million streams globally, a #1 most added single at Canadian Alternative radio and an array of impressive accolades, including a Juno award for "Breakthrough Group of the Year" and the SOCAN Songwriter prize for their single "I Heard I Had".
