New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) - Tonight Long Island-based prog masters Dream Theater will be inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame. Standing beside rock icon Lou Reed and hip-hop legends Eric B & Rakim amongst many other inductees, Dream Theater bassist John Myung checked in to tell us all about the honor:

"I am excited to be part this event, being inducted is like passing an important mile marker in our career that tells us we're on the right path and inspires us to keep moving forward, music is one of the greatest art-forms and to be recognized for our achievements in music as a band is truly and honor."

John Myung was recently named the Greatest Bassist of All Time in a reader's poll conducted by Music Radar.
Go right here to see what he had to say about the accolade.

Dream Theater's latest album Black Clouds & Silver Linings is out now.
