JT says, "It's 8 degrees in Troy, Ohio as I write this. Nothing reminds me of the cold, stark, unrelenting isolated feeling of being LONESOME than a day like this in the Midwest. But the truth is, that it's just another day in the frigid reality of my Paradise. I started writing lyrics for LONESOME while on a few trips to the California desert. I was in search of a different type of inspiration. Maybe even an emotional awakening. With a pen and paper, 112 degrees of dry desert heat, and the San Jacinto mountain as my backdrop...I set out to craft a set of songs that unfold like credits in a film. One of those films that tells a small story about what real life is like. With a script built on love, heartbreak, dreams left unfulfilled, and the unstoppable feeling of being LONESOME. I didn't hold anything back and tried to keep the characters in these songs as close to myself as I felt comfortable with. Those who know me might recognize themselves as these characters whether it was intentional or unintentional, they will never know. These songs are simply meant to be a beacon to those who are alone and have to fight for every breath they take. I too, have been LONESOME."
