New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Air Force Veteran and country artist John Rian Eason releases his patriotic tribute song, "StandUP" through The Label Group on INgrooves. His tribute goes out to those who have fought for freedom and for the women and men in BLUE that have given their lives to keep us safe.

9/11 had a huge impact on Eason and this single "StandUP" comes from his own experiences while serving his country.

"StandUP" clearly lends itself to the passion he shares for Old Glory and most importantly in memory to those who have served her yesterday, today and tomorrow.

"I am excited to be putting out new music that means something to me! It's time that people got off their knees and stopped disrespecting our Country and our Flag! StandUP!" - John Eason

John Eason is just a small town Father, Veteran and Gypsy brought up on gospel and country music. He was born in the small town of Minden in Louisiana and lived in Cotton Valley, raised on good manners, good food and good music, his family sang gospel all over the place and he always dreamed of being up on stage. Now he can't say its all Gospel cause Honky Tonks and Neon run through his veins he has always felt the draw of the stage there listening to the crowd and the clinking of the glasses!

He took some detours on my way to his music dreams and pursued another passion of his as a chef, he attended culinary school and worked in the food industry which he loves. His grandmother and mom taught him to cook growing up and he loves making good food for people. He tries to combine this passion with his music these days with his own BBQ Sauce Renegade BBQ. He lost a bakery during hurricane Katrina while he was in Mississippi which led him to the Military. He spent 8 years with the Air Force and 5 deployments overseas, He truly loved his time and the brothers and sisters he met there. He gets asked all the time whether it was bad overseas and of course there were horrible times but he believes in finding the joy and beauty in all situations. One of the most beautiful places he has ever been to was a snowy valley in Kabul Afghanistan. One of his biggest passions comes from that time in the military, He suffers with PTSD and he pours that into his music one of his first songs he released "Gun From My Hands" is all about it and the scars you can't see. He hopes he can bring more awareness to PTSD and help his brothers and sisters who suffer like him.

Music has always had his heart, the only thing that has more of it are his daughters Elli Mae and Calli Grace. He could never shake off the nagging feeling he wasn't doing what he needed to be doing when he wasn't pursuing his music, So he packed up sold everything and came down to Nashville to chase his dreams. His Gypsy soul loved selling everything and packing up a $750 pickup truck that wouldn't reverse and moving to a town where he knew no one! He has always been able to as his friends say make friends with a rock so when he got here he wasted no time. Found a job at a family owned restaurant called Courtney's to keep a roof over his head as well fellow Brother in Arms Glen Hanks to live with. He is always blown away by the amount of talent in Nashville and he has met some great songwriters who have helped him. find my way, Bill Wolfenbarger has been a constant sounding board and I even had the chance to shake the hand of Whispering Bill Anderson. One of his biggest goals has been to find his sound to put the music in his head out in the world, his influences are Lynyrd Skynyrd, Johnny Cash, Hank Jr, Waylon Jennings and so many more. Thanks to some great musicians and co writers (which you can find on my Music Family Page) he has started to find that sound and he is beyond thankful to them for that.
He gets asked all the time what his goals in pursuing music are, is he here to be famous? Honestly he is here to pour out the music from his soul and hope it connects with the people who need it. Some folks call his music Country, some Outlaw Country and some Southern Rock he calls it real and that's the kinda music he wants to make!
