Paola Guanche Is Voted The First "La Voz Kids" Winner During An Intense Three-Hour Finale On Telemundo
Miami, FL (Top40 Charts/ Telemundo) Twelve-year-old Cuban singer Paola Guanche, a member of Prince Royce's team, was named the first "La Voz Kids" winner by the voting audience during a special three-hour finale on Telemundo tonight. After 13 successful weeks, "La Voz Kids" celebrated its grand finale in a magical evening with special performances by international recording artist Ricky Martin, who captivated the audience with a stunning performance of his new single, "Come With Me;" Mexican singer Ana Barbara premiered for the first time on television, "Yo Soy La Mujer," the theme song from Telemundo's new prime time telenovela "Marido en Alquiler;" and award-winning pop/bachata singer-songwriter - and now winning coach - Prince Royce, charmed the audience with his current hit, "Darte un Beso."

Telemundo and "La Voz Kids" discovered a brand new star in Paula Guanche. As the winner of the first season of the popular singing competition, Paola will receive a recording contract with Universal Music and cash prize of $50,000 awarded by AT&T in support of her education. Viewers can find exclusive content from the grand finale at www.LaVozKids.com, Facebook https://www.facebook.com/LaVozKids, Twitter https://www.twitter.com/LaVozKidsUS or @LaVozKidsUS, Instagram https://www.instagram.com/lavozkids, and hashtags #LVK, #TeamTapia, #TeamRubio and #TeamRoyce.

Paola, who hails from Florida, gave her best performance of the competition last night, singing "I Will Always Love You" displaying the stage confidence and command of an accomplished artist. The audience and all three coaches gave her a standing ovation and her coach, Prince Royce, was speechless. "Paola is exceptionally talented and she has impressed us all," he said proudly. "She demonstrated excellence in all musical genres during the competition. She clearly represents what 'La Voz Kids' is all about and I'm proud to be her coach. All of the kids proved themselves to be winners; I loved working with all and I have tremendous respect for them, especially for #TeamRoyce." After being named the winner of "La Voz Kids," Paola closed the show with a powerful rendition of the classic "Quimbara," which made the entire audience stand up and dance along.

Paola Guanche comes from a family of well-known Cuban singers and performers; you could say that music runs through her veins. She began singing and acting in shows with her family at a young age and has always felt comfortable in front of an audience. "I go up on stage and do what I have to do to win over the audience," the young singer shared. Paola joined "La Voz Kids" to show that, just like the rest of her family, she has star quality and can charm the audience with her voice, as she proved by winning the popular singing competition "La Voz Kids."
