Rick Lang Releases "Peace On Earth This Christmas"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Songwriter Rick Lang has released a new lyric video for the song "Peace on Earth This Christmas." "My dear friend Nancy Cardwell Webster and I wrote 'Peace on Earth This Christmas' a couple of years ago. We both felt the message in the song was important to share with everyone. To never stop praying for peace, caring, and compassion for our fellow man. Considering today's escalating conflicts around the world, we felt this was an appropriate time to introduce this song and video," Rick Lang.

While "Peace on Earth This Christmas" has not been released as a single, Lang has other Christmas singles available. Last month, he and Jared Easter released the new Christmas song, "Jesus Is The Reason For The Season," featuring Morgan Easter Smith on lead vocals and two-time Rob Ickes on Dobro. "Jesus Is The Reason For The Season" is available to radio programmers at AirPlay Direct or by request to Hope River Entertainment. Last year, Lang released "Bluegrass Holiday" and "I Thank You Lord," both receiving critical acclaim.

Grammy-nominated songwriter Rick Lang has had over 150 of his songs recorded by various artists and has released seven albums of his own. His gospel release, Gonna Sing Gonna Shout, was honored with the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Gospel Recording of The Year Award in 2019. Rick also received a GMA Dove Award Nomination for Look To The Light, is a four-time nominee for the coveted IBMA Songwriter of the Year Award, and is a three-time nominee for the IBMA Mentor of the Year Award.
