The Annie Moses Band Premieres Video For "Rhapsody In Bluegrass" Via The Wall Street Journal
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Annie Moses Band has released a video for their track "Rhapsody in Bluegrass", a unique reinterpretation of Gershwin's classic 1924 "Rhapsody in Blue," and a centerpiece of their forthcoming album American Rhapsody. The video premiered on The Wall Street Journal who remarked on the group's reimagining of the piece: "The Nashville sextet substitutes viola for the sinewy clarinet that opens the original piece, and they inject an element of chugging pop into the arrangement..."

American Rhapsody tracks "Rhapsody in Bluegrass" and "Summertime" are currently available for instant gratification download on iTunes as well as streaming via Apple Music and Spotify.

The band's also recently completed a successful Kickstarter Campaign to support the production of their new PBS special this summer. "The Art of the Love Song" will offer a fresh perspective on a selection of timeless love songs that have been adapted to fit the band's sweeping orchestral performance style. Filming will take place at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, and the program will air this December. Accompanying the band in the production will be the Summer Pops Young Artists Symphony, drawn from students of the Fine Arts Summer Academy (FASA), an immersive music education program for young artists, founded by the Annie Moses Band.

While most artists find inspiration solely through recording and performance, the classically-trained members of the Annie Moses Band also consider sharing their talents through the education of young musicians to be a crucial element of their work. Now in its 13th year, the Juilliard-educated band's Fine Arts Summer Academy has convened in Nashville, TN from July 11th through 23rd, offering students technical training and Broadway-level stagecraft, for a music education experience like no other. The program culminates in a series of student perfomances at the city's most celebrated venues: Bluebird Cafe, Bluegrass Underground, The Cannery Ballroom and The Grand Ole Opry House.

Comprised of six siblings, the Annie Moses Band is a talented ensemble of songwriters, singers, and musicians, combining classically-trained technical skill with exhilarating showmanship. The Nashville-based ensemble has steadily built an international audience and accepted invitations to perform at Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry House and PBS. Following 11 albums, five DVDs and five TV specials, they plan to release their new record American Rhapsody on September 11th. In addition to mentoring with FASA, the AMB has an extensive set of performances scheduled for Summer 2015 and beyond, listed below.
