This would explain the 'magnetic force' that has 'driven' five phenomenally talented veteran musicians, (of opposite sub-genres of rock and even opposite genres), together just earlier this year, to form what is without a doubt, destined to be rock's next prolific 'super band'.

The band is Wyldsky, which is comprised of seasoned pro performers:
Tyler Nelson, exceptionally skilled songwriter, vocalist and performer, best known for his prowess on guitar and dynamic stage presence with the band Great White, on lead vocals and guitar; Chad Quist, renowned for his blistering guitar performances with a number of headlining acts including Big
Brother and the Holding Company amongst others; Doug Richardson, (formerly of the widely popular Southern rock band
Alligator Stew), on bass. On piano, Hammond B3, synthesizers and sax is the AAMA Award winning Chris Turbis, also formerly of
Alligator Stew. Last but certainly not least, is the lead footed force, Michael Lesniak on drums. Mike Lesniak is a master percussionist/drummer that brings to the table his expertise in a number of styles and genres; and is also well known as a Producer/Engineer, having worked with numerous headlining performers, and is the Co-Owner of Shadowman Entertainment LLC.
Though Wyldsky's self titled CD, which was just released January, it's easy to predict this will be the CD that dominates the airwaves in 2009 and easily into 2010; as Wyldsky's debut CD has already been steadily gaining an impressively significant amount radio airplay on mainstream, internet, satellite and college radio stations everywhere; as well as the members of Wyldsky being invited as guests on a number of stations since the CD's release. An example of this is especially notable on the track titled "Goodbye Good Riddance", which starts and ends the song with the most amazing guitar piece where renaissance finger picking style is layered with a bluegrass finger picking style, yet sandwiched in the middle, is a heavy duty, classic rock, (with a somewhat Led Zeppelin-esque), groove. Another prime example of this can be heard in their song "Next World", which opens the song by taking the listener deep into to a mysterious back woods location, (somewhat swamp rock in style); but Wyldsky then takes the listener on a 'wyldride' through territories of melodic metal, with plenty of twists and turns along the way, seamlessly welding that metal with both classic and contemporary rock, with the chorus of the song delivering a rather positive message to the subject. ...Great stuff!
