Adult Swim To Release Soundtrack From The Venture Bros. Season 3 On CD, Digital Download And Vinyl

LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Adult Swim) - After announcing that The Venture Bros. Season 3 Blu-ray Disc would feature the score from the series as an exclusive bonus feature, Adult Swim quickly realized how much anticipation and excitement there was around the soundtrack. Subsequently, the network announced that The Venture Bros.: The Music of JG Thirlwell will be released on CD through its online shop (https://www.williamsstreet.com/) and as a digital download through iTunes, Amazon.com and others. Williams Street Records, the network's in-house music label, will produce and distribute the CD as a 20-track score that is available online beginning March 24, the same day The Venture Bros. Season 3 is released on Blu-ray Disc and DVD. Fans can pre-order their copy at the Williams Street online shop beginning today for $12.00 and can also download the album from digital service providers that same day. Additionally, a limited edition vinyl of The Venture Bros.: The Music of JG Thirlwell will be released on April 7 at select independent record shops throughout the nation for the suggested retail price of $18.98.

The Venture Bros.: The Music of JG Thirlwell contains all original compositions from Thirlwell, an Australian-born and Brooklyn-based composer, producer and performer. Since his 1980 debut in the music industry, Thirlwell has amassed a body of work that stretches the gamut from orchestrations, big band and sound sculpture, cathartic noise-rock to abstract electronics, chamber music, serial music and imaginary soundtracks - sometimes all in the same album. He has also composed and performed under a myriad of pseudonyms including Foetus, Steroid Maximus, Manorexia, Baby Zizanie, Wiseblood and others. His unique score for The Venture Bros. television series has garnered widespread critical acclaim and this CD marks the first release of the television series' music at retail.

Launched on Adult Swim in August 2004, The Venture Bros. is an inspired spoof of 1960s action cartoon shows such as "Jonny Quest." Created by Jackson Publick III (King of the Hill, The Tick), this 30-minute animated series follows the bizarre misadventures of the eclectic Venture family, including the world-renowned Dr. Venture, his not-so bright, fraternal sons Hank and Dean, and Brock, their bodyguard assigned by the government to keep an eye on the family who is then promptly forgotten by the Feds.
