DoryDrive Releases New Album "Calling On Angels," Prepares For Launch Of Single "Tattooed"
Nashville,TN (Top40 Charts/ Red Rocket Entertainment) Nashville rockers and Red Rocket Entertainment recording artists DoryDrive have announced that their debut album "Calling On Angels" was released on iTunes and Amazon July 24 and that their single "Tattooed" is currently being serviced to radio stations across the U.S. The release can also be found on Spotify and various other streaming services. The album was recorded at Nashville's Studio Red by up and coming producer Ryan Rossebo and the 12 tracks were mastered by Grammy Award winning engineer Brad Blackwood. This is the band's much anticipated follow on to their award winning EP "Dance Baby Dance", which received Tunelab's 2011 EOTY award for "EP of the Year" and garnered DoryDrive indie acclaim. In addition, lead singer Matthieu Nevitt received the award for "Best Vocal Performance" for their single "All the Same", which is also featured on the new album.

"We are extremely proud of this album and have put forth our heart and soul with the hope of creating a record beyond the average rock listen" said Nevitt. The album is described as a collection of tracks written around the band's desire to ignite a spark of positivity, passion and self worth within the listener.

Touring much of last year and logging more than 200 tour dates, the band recently spent the last few weeks playing a string of high profile festivals including the legendary Summerfest in Milwaukee, with Hollywood Undead. Their latest tour dates had them supporting numerous national acts including Papa Roach, James Durbin, Iron Maiden, Adelitas Way, Alice Cooper, Sevendust, Anew Revolution and Nonpoint.

With a strong touring schedule and plenty of industry buzz, the indie act has managed to procure endorsement deals with Love Gone Apparel, Eruption Effervescent Energy, Reuse Jeans, Samick/Greg Bennet Guitars and Ddrum. In fact, DoryDrive was recently featured in both Premier Guitar magazine and Guitar World, alongside Greg Bennet Guitars.

The band is looking forward to another solid touring season in support of their new album release and hopes to impact radio with their single "Tattooed" this fall. The band is managed by Eddie Karam at Red Rocket Entertainment.
