New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Hangzhou Tourism Commission) To celebrate the end of the Global Tour 2015, a cultural immersion campaign by the Hangzhou Tourism Commission (HTC) in which ambassadors from the U.S. and China were selected to travel the world for 30 days, the Capaldi family (U.S. ambassadors) and Zhou family (Chinese ambassadors) release their music video for "It's A Great Big World". Written by Domenick Capaldi, a musician who has performed with the likes of Liberace, the song celebrates the happiness for which Hangzhou is known.
The Capaldi and Zhou families recorded the original number at Platinum Sound Recording Studios while they were in New York as part of the Global Tour 2015. Both families performed live for New Yorkers at Flatiron's South Plaza in front of the Hangzhou Tourism Commission's ice cream truck on Thursday, August 20th.
Highlights from the ambassadors' time in New York City included volunteering in Central Park as part of TreesCount! 2015, NYC Parks' effort to map and catalogue every street tree, and taking in captivating city views on the Circle Line Cruise Sightseeing Tour.
"It's A Great Big World" is available for viewing on YouTube. To learn about the ambassadors' Global Tour 2015 adventures and to watch the other videos chronicling their journey, please visit https://globaltour2015.com/us.
