Graffiti6 Announce A String Of September Tour Dates Including Austin City Limits On Sep. 18th
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Capitol Records) Capitol Records emerging artist Graffiti6 has announced a new string of September tour dates. The 7-date tour begins Sep. 17th in Albany, NY and includes an opening slot on the main stage of Austin City Limits on Sep. 18th before wrapping in New York City on Sep. 26th as the opening band for Oh Land at the Bowery Ballroom (full schedule below).

Graffiti6 will also release their 'Free' EP on Oct. 11th. The 'Free' EP is a seven-track set which includes both the radio and stripped down version of the title track along with stripped versions of Lay Me Down, Annie You Save Me and Stone In My Heart. The EP is rounded out with the bands cover of Fleet Foxes Blue Ridge Mountains and a brand new song Foxes. The bands debut album Colours will be released in early 2012.

Free, an emotional, soulful song about breaking out of a relationship that has come to an end but hard to walk away from, is Graffiti6s first U.S. radio single. It will impact Triple A radio in October. The video which was shot on the streets of downtown LA will also premiere next month. The band debuted a raw, stripped down clip for the song on influential music blog ArjanWrites.com last month in which lead singer Jamie Scott performs Free solo and acoustic with one mic, one camera, in one take. You can see it here: https://youtu.be/VYs-ABc475A

Graffiti6 is a collaboration between singer-songwriter Jamie Scott and songwriter-producer TommyD, both London-born multi-instrumentalists who began making music together in 2009. Theyve spent the last couple of months back and forth between the U.S. and Europe playing shows and festivals. They played the Escape To New York Festival last month in Southampton, NY, played the Los Angeles Hammer Museum Summer Concert Series presented by KCRW and opened for buzz-band Fitz and the Tantrums in July in addition to a residency at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. Graffiti6 have also done sessions for taste-maker radio stations KCRW and KEXP. Their performance of Stare Into The Sun on KCRWs Morning Becomes Eclectic can be see here: https://youtu.be/bzfMqh5_EGM. Theyve had their songs played on popular TV shows such as Greys Anatomy, Covert Affairs, CSI: NY, One Tree Hill, and most recently on the new MTV series Teen Wolf. MTV has also featured Graffiti6 in its Freshmen 5, Artist to Watch, and Push campaigns.
