Janet Devlin Unveils Her First Music Video; X Factor Star Unveils The Video For Her Debut Single 'Wonderful'

LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) Janet Devlin is back, stronger than ever and set to release her debut single 'Wonderful ' co-written with Newton Faulkner on 25th November 2013 via a new venture with Indie label Insomnia Music Records.

'Wonderful' is an infectious and upbeat folk driven pop song that beautifully showcases Janet's unique and enchanting vocal talent, which caught the public's attention on Series 8 of The X factor in 2011, winning her the best performance of the night on the show, five weeks in a row.

The video for 'Wonderful' was shot on location in the Lake District by Gary Dumbill , who has previously worked with the likes of Blue and The Noisettes , and features Janet walking through an enchanted forest.

Since appearing on The X Factor , Janet has been writing and perfecting her live act, having performed in the presence of His Holiness The Dalai Lama and a set to more than 82,000 people at the All Ireland Gaelic Football final at Dublin's Croke Park . Despite being offered numerous label offers, Janet has done things her own way and during the past 18 months has invested everything she has made through touring and fundraising via a PledgeMusic crowdfunding campaign, into furthering her songwriting. During this time Janet has also been co-writing with Joshua Radin, Jack Savoretti and Newton Faulkner whom she cites as major inspirations alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers and Devendra Banhart.

Janet has just finished her first sold out solo tour of the UK and her debut album ' Hide & Seek' will be released early in 2014.
