Jazz Star Frank McComb Headlines Capitol Hill Jazz Foundation's Inaugural Hill Fest
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Capitol Hill Jazz Foundation launches the inaugural Capitol Hill Jazz Foundation Hill Fest in Washington, D.C. starting on Wednesday October 4, running through October 7.

Jazz star Frank McComb headlines the festival's concert, along with five other national and local acts. The concert will be held October 7th from 10:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. at Garfield Park, located at 2nd St. SE and F St. SE in Washington, DC. The festival is made possible by a partnership with the District of Columbia Department of Parks and Recreation.

Hill Fest will bring musicians together in an effort to translate performances to policy. The festival starts with a conference addressing policy concerns that directly affect musicians on a local and national level, followed by a day-long concert.

"D.C. has some of the deepest jazz roots in the world, so I can't wait for the first Hill Fest which will host jazz artists here in the capital of jazz," said D.C. At-Large Councilmember Robert White, Jr. "I know it will excite jazz lovers like me and introduce a new generation to this beautiful genre."
