Katy Perry Will Release 'E.T.' (Feat. Kanye West), 4th Single From No 1 Album 'Teenage Dream'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Capitol Records) Global pop superstar Katy Perry will release a new single, "E.T.," to radio this week. The track, as well as its accompanying video, features artist Kanye West. The video was directed by Floria Sigismondi who has directed clips for David Bowie, Bjork, and Marilyn Manson, among others.

"E.T." is the fourth single off Katy's Grammy-nominated No. 1 album Teenage Dream. The album's previous three singles, "California Gurls," "Teenage Dream," and "Firework" all peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making Katy the first female artist in 11 years to score three No. 1 singles from one album.

Katy also made headlines when she announced, via a live appearance on Facebook, the details for her 2011 "California Dreams World Tour." Popular demand for tickets, which are going quickly according to local promoters, has turned the tour into the hottest ticket of the year. "Katy Perry has lit up America. Her ticket sales have exploded like Fireworks!", according to concert promoter Don Fox. After kicking off on February 20th in Lisbon, Portugal and continuing through the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Japan, the tour lands Stateside in June. The North American leg, sponsored by Schick Quattro for Women, begins on June 7th in Atlanta, GA, and runs through August 20th, with two shows in Katy's hometown of Santa Barbara, CA. Two shows at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre have already sold out and a third show has been added. Please visit https://www.katyperry.com/tours/ for all tour dates.

In other news, Katy has been nominated for two 2011 Kids' Choice Awards, for "Favorite Female Singer" and "Favorite Song" for "California Gurls." In January, she won two People's Choice Awards for "Favorite Female Artist" and "Favorite Online Sensation" - awards voted on by fans. Katy won a People's Choice Award in 2009 for "Best Pop Song" with her debut anthem "I Kissed A Girl." Over the course of her career, she has also won a BRIT Award, two MTV Europe Music Awards, an NRJ Music Award, and two Teen Choice Awards, among other international honors.

Katy appeared as a guest star on CBS's How I Met Your Mother on February 7th. Her single "Firework" was performed on the Valentine's Day episode of the FOX hit show Glee, by cast member Lea Michele. Over the past year, Katy has graced the cover of Rolling Stone, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Harpers' Bazaar, Seventeen, Nylon, Lucky, and Maxim. She currently appears on the cover of Elle's March issue.
