Leona Lewis Releases 'Hurt: The EP'
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Dawbell PR) A stunning collection of three tracks are now available to download after Leona took to the X Factor stage on Saturday evening as part of The X Factor Final weekend where she performed the title track, 'Hurt'.

Leona has been in the studio finishing her forthcoming third studio album 'Glassheart', set for release next year. Most recently she has been working with acclaimed British producer Fraser T Smith who has worked with names such as Adele, Kylie Minogue, Cee-Lo Green, Britney Spears and Ellie Goulding.

After working together on songs for the new album they decided to put together an EP to be released for fans while 'Glassheart' is being finished. The EP features a collection of three covers; 'Iris' (Goo Goo Dolls), 'Colorblind' (Counting Crows) and the title track 'Hurt' (Nine Inch Nails) (co-produced with Graham Stack and Matt Furmidge). All three tracks are delivered with the tenderness and delicate beauty that we all so easily recognise as Leona.

Of the EP Leona said, "I have been enjoying my time in the studio with Fraser so much and we felt that this EP would be a nice treat for fans whilst they wait for us to finish the album." Leona has had an amazing journey since winning X Factor back in 2006, achieving 20million single and album sales worldwide, 30 global Number 1's, 3 Mobo nominations, 5 MTV Music Awards, 7 Brit nominations and 3 Grammy nominations; these amazing stats make her the most successful act ever to graduate from The X Factor.

The journey continues here with the release of 'Hurt', available to download from iTunes now.
