Lee Ann Womack in her break-out feature role; the tough and rugged Ryan Hurst (REMEMBER THE TITANS, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN); LOLITAS' seductive blonde Dominique Swain who's all grown up now; and everyone's favorite Ron Canada (NATIONAL TREASURE) rounds out the cast have completed principal photography and post production.
NOBLE THINGS was filmed in beautiful Austin, Beaumont, and Southeast Texas where Brett Moses was born and raised. Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita stopped productions twice and this week in Beaumont, Texas, the production offices were just evacuated again this week for Hurricane Gustav.
Fellow Texan, multi-talented composer and soundtrack producer, Clay Walker promises new hit tracks that will come alive with NOBLE THINGS on the screen. Walker has a resounding 31 titles on Billboard's singles chart and four platinum-selling albums. M. Jason Greene has written a title track and is serving as Supervising Music Producer. Country legend Tracy Byrd and others make special appearances in NOBLE THINGS.
NOBLE THINGS ties together a story of love, loyalty, and what happens when painful secrets become too heavy to bear. Jimmy Wayne Collins (Brett Moses) is well on his way to becoming the next big country music star out of Blackwater, Texas. Jimmy and his older brother Kyle (Ryan Hurst), a rebel, are reared under the watchful eye of their father, local Sheriff, Pete Collins (Michael Parks) and his loyal deputy Claire Wades (Lee Ann Womack). Jimmy, Kyle and their gang of loyal friends "The Boys," constantly push the envelope in search of high-risk thrills. However, one fate-filled night, the brothers push too far. The bonds of family and friendships will be tested and the consequences will haunt the promising star. Four years later, with only the distant memories of stardom, Jimmy returns home to face his terminally ill father, his imprisoned brother, his ex-girlfriend (Dominique Swain) and the life he left behind. Wounds will be healed. A secret will be revealed. A choice will be made.
